This pandemic put our industry in rest mode for maybe two weeks at first, but we as a super resilient group cannot stay quiet for that long. So, we decided to get back to work, this time to help our communities and better our society.

As restrictions dwindle, the exhibition industry rises, and we are grateful to see our schedules filling up again, rekindling with clients, companies and partners at last.

Another early morning heading to the airport, calls with the family, calls with the client, and an endless list of tasks to do. That is how most of our days go by. We never stop; it is hard to find the balance.

As we round up our last quarter of 2022 and begin to plan our goals for next year, I’m greatly surprised by everything that worked out for my company this year.

It is funny how a simple choice can make an enormous difference in our lives, don’t you think?

After what has felt like an eternity in our industry, we finally see a beam of light at the end of the tunnel—perhaps from those bright lights that illuminate our booths in venues around the world. 

We had a garbled mess of empty brackets and wires that looked as if some gang had looted our security cameras from a security show – an irony not lost on me.

The health emergency that has arisen due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 has triggered alerts worldwide. And the event and exhibition industry is not foreign to this situation.

Last minute changes, time pressures, and access problems are not problems that we only face at home, we experience the same thing in South & North America, Europe and the rest of the world.
